About Lamna Durban
Our Durban branch has been operating since 2015, providing short-term, asset-based loans to individuals in and around the city.
We offer fast, completely discreet asset-backed loans, at competitive interest rates.
We don’t share information with credit bureaus or any other third parties. We also don’t charge any hidden fees or penalties.
Lamna is a registered credit provider (registration number NCRCP7428) and, as such, complies fully with the National Credit Act. We offer competitive loan terms, with no hidden costs or penalties.
If you want to proceed, we’ll organise to have the asset appraised in person. We’ll then make a formal offer and, if you accept the loan agreement, transfer the funds to your account via an EFT payment.
The asset you provide as security will be stored in a high-security facility for the duration of the loan term. Once the loan is repaid, the asset is returned to you in its original condition.
Previous loans we’ve made range from thousands of rand to R10 million and higher.
Loan values we offer are based exclusively on the assessed resale value of the assets that our clients provide as security.
LOANS AGAINST VEHICLES
With Lamna, you can use a car, bakkie, truck, caravan, boat or other vehicle to secure a loan. The vehicle must be fully paid for and registered in your name.

We accept high-value items of jewellery as collateral for short-term loans in Durban.
LOANS AGAINST WATCHES
We offer loans against luxury watches from well-known brands – from Rolex to Vacherin Constantin, Chopin, Patek Philippe and more.
LOANS AGAINST ARTWORK
We accept valuable works of art and antiques as security for loans, subject to assessment.
LOANS AGAINST OTHER ASSETS
If you have any movable asset of value – from a designer handbag to an aeroplane – it’s possible you could use it to secure a loan.
Along with asset-backed loans, our Durban branch offers:
- bridging finance for commercial property
